About Us   Establish by Judith Sims in 1971 and run as a family business, the Clevedon Riding Centre has now been taken on by Judiths daughter, Sandra Manners. Who has helped in the riding school from the beginning at the age of 5 and now keeps up her training with the top instructors. The Centre has approximately 25 horses and ponies, including competition horses, young stock and 18 for the riding school.   Founder Judith Sims Ashton Park Day Ride 1970's                                               Local Star Eventer Clevedon Riding Centre - home of the famous eventer Clevedon Merry Lady, who has a huge fan club. The smallest horse to complete Badminton 1996, and at Burghley 15hh, one of the smallest ever to complete. Also winner of the Best Mare's prize, 5th pre Olympic  trail, and completed Burghley 1996 ridden by Sandra Sims (now Sandra Manners), she is also featured in the book '50 years of Badminton' fearlessly jumping into the renowned lake.
